AKSARA will be the featured a cappella ensemble at Southern NH University on Thursday, September 25, 2008 for the art exhibit called The Artists Line: A Drawing Exhibition, which highlights selections from the UNH collection which will include work from the 18th century through the Modern art period.

On October 15, 2008, AKSARA will perform
at the HOSPICE CONFERENCE held here in Manchester at
the Radisson Hotel. They will also have a booth at the
conference featuring their four CDs.

On Saturday evening, November 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM, AKSARA will present their autumn concert
celebrating their 10 years together. A repertoire of favorite pieces from their huge repertoire will
fill the Nancy S. Boettiger Performing Arts Auditorium with the much loved AKSARA sound.
Please join them at the Derryfield School, 2108 River Road, Manchester, NH for a rich, full, harmonious
and grace-filled evening of beautiful music.
Tickets will go on sale September 1, 2008.

AKSARA will present a two and a half hour workshop at CIRCLES of WISDOM in Andover, MA on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6:30-9:00 PM. The workshop is entitled PEACEFUL HEALING THROUGH TONING. Participants are individually cocooned in healing sounds that in the gentlest way, align and clear your body, mind, heart and spirit to awaken within you an innate sense of peace and wholeness. They will also include 3 or 4 selections from their CDs.

AKSARA has been invited by St. Joseph
Hospital and Souhegan Hospice to partcipate in their
Spring Memorial Service of Remembrance on Sunday, April
27, 2008 at 1:00 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.
The ensemble will be singing pieces from their latest
CD, "Comfort and Grace" as well as pieces
from their Repertoire for Healing.

A WISH FOUNDATION BENEFIT. The event is held at the
historic Palace Theatre, 80 Hanover St. in Manchester,
NH Other artists performing are: The Velvet Elves Orchestra,
Sal Baglio, The Fat City Band, Stevens and Mack, Tornado
Alley Horns and many more. Tickets are on sale at the
box office at the Palace Theatre.
